Underground Sounds Studio wasn’t focus-grouped in some sterile corporate boardroom. It was forged by pure necessity in a sweltering Florida storage unit.

In 2020, while the world shut down and corporate buyouts swallowed up our local rehearsal spots, my band was left out in the cold. We crammed into a tin-can shed just to keep the music breathing. That forced exile sparked a massive realization: the Tampa Bay scene was starving. We didn’t need another sanitized, hourly-rate showroom. We needed a home base.

In 2022, I built exactly that. Underground Sounds Studio is a creative sanctuary designed by a musician, for musicians—built on the absolute truth of what it takes to capture raw and unfiltered energy.
Four Decades in the Trenches
I’m Bob Noxious. For four decades, I haven't just played music; I've bled for it. I’ve survived the stages, the studios, and the grimy corners where the only sound that actually matters gets made.

For the last ten years, I’ve been behind the console, obsessing over the technical craft of audio engineering and the precision of a hard-hitting mix. I’ve watched record labels chase sterile formulas and seen shiny trends burn to ash.
Through it all, I’ve learned one undeniable truth: Authentic music doesn't follow the rules. It shatters them.

I took 40 years of industry trenches—every frustration, every limitation, and every hard-won victory—and used them as the blueprint for this space.
